Wild Swarm of Bees
This is a swarm that showed up one morning behind our building at work. They stayed about a day and a half before they found a better location and left.
Jan's ReplyMichael you are very handy with a camera and I for one am truly pleased you are. We are really enjoying looking at your photographs.
Most swarms that settle in trees are just waiting patiently for scout bees to locate a new home for them and usually only hang around for a day or two.
When they fly off to their new home it can be quite a sight, like a huge black cloud moving swiftly across the sky.
They fly way above our heads so there is no danger of being stung and people should just watch in amazement at "Nature at Work"
