Have you ever heard of the African Honey Badger? Now this little creature is a ferocious little beast whose sole purpose it appears is to rummage around and seeking out wild bee nests and hives. He/she doesn’t even care if they are stung, which they are quite badly.

There is a famous little cartoon bee by the name of the Honey Nut Cheerios Bee. A popular little character since 1979 when one of the most popular cereals ever was invented.

Then of course is the nutritional value to this highly popular cereal. There isn’t a huge amount of honey added even though they use this ingredient but it is very high in whole grains.

There are festivals worldwide celebrating honey bees and promoting the benefits of honey. One such festival which appears to be very popular indeed is held every October in Hahira, a town in Southern Georgia.

It is twenty-nine miles north of the Georgia, and near the Florida border. Have you attended the Hahira Honey Bee Festival? It sounds like huge fun.
