More Bees in the Attic

by Michael Cato
(Vista CA)

This is the full hive.

This is the full hive.

I wanted to see if the comb looks like it is getting larger. This is my first experience with a wild hive so I have no idea if it is growing slowly or quickly.

Michael, this is yet another amazing picture thank you so much again for sending them in.

What a facinating and up close view of that amazing construction, the bee honeycomb.

This is where most of the action takes place in the hive, they dance here to enable the other worker bees to find a great source of nectar the scout bees have found and bring their nectar back to turn into their delicious product.....honey.
