Medihoney contents are very much based on Manuka honey; everyone who understands the medical benefits of honey knows this is an exceptional and natural healer for all types of wounds.

Does Medihoney Cure Cancer?

There have been frequent reports over the last few years with claims that Medihoney cures cancer. These claims are very mis-leading; however, there is strong scientific evidence that Medihoney is useful in combating some of the symptoms derived from some cancers.

In particular Medihoney has been tried and tested very successfully on sores and wounds suffered by Leukaemia sufferers. Leukaemia is cancer of the blood.

Most people who have a sore or wound can be treated and their wound will heal successfully in a shorter time than those who suffer with Leukaemia. Medihoney provides fast healing for these Leukaemia victims.

How does Medihoney Work?

Leukaemia sufferers have a weakened immune systems and if a bacterium enters a wound on their skin it can cause blood poisoning which could in fact be fatal. Medihoney can eat away at the bacteria entering this wound which in turn heals it rapidly stopping the infection in its tracks.

At Bonn University Children’s clinic, Germany, Dr Arne Simon and Dr Kai Sofka who work within the cancer ward and children’s clinic have been amazed at the success of the use of Medihoney.

They have witnessed the reduction of foul odours omitted by wounds and the fast healing of skin tissues. There are now thankfully many other hospitals and clinics that now use Medihoney based on the research carried out.

In the above example it proves that although Medihoney does not cure cancer it has such powerful medicinal properties which are successful in treating some complications of cancer victims. You may be interested to read the full research document.

What else is Medihoney Good For?

Most doctors are now in agreement that honey will cure Helicobacter pylori which is a bacterium that causes stomach ulcers. There is a solid link between this bacterium and stomach cancer.

At the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel researchers proved that eating two to three ounces of honey each day for several months actually cured the toughest to treat stomach ulcer. As Medihoney is such an effective healer it stands to reason that eating Manuka honey could in fact stop stomach cancer from forming.

Cancer is a dreadful disease, living healthy cancer free lives through eating healthy foods (opens a new window) we can go a long way to avoid this.

Can Medihoney help Skin Cancer?

Skin cancers are most often formed by too much exposure to the suns burning rays. How many of us are there who have suffered the burning, tightness of the skin and the pain caused by sunburn?

We all know we should use a good protective barrier against these harmful rays and most of the time we do, however, with the best of intentions we can often be caught off guard when the weather takes a turn for the better and we have no such protection with us.

Honey if applied liberally will heal our skin quickly and more than likely stop that cancer from forming. This is just one of the reasons we should keep a jar in our cupboards at home at all times, you just never know when you will need this!

A respected scientist with the Biomedical Research Foundation in Maastricht, The Netherlands, reviewed the effects of honey on burns and concluded:

Burns that are treated with honey heal more rapidly and effectively in a patient-friendly way, without complications, with little pain and relatively little scarring. The honey treated burns enter their phase within six weeks which is unique and not seen with any other wound dressing. Yet another very good reason for having a supply.

Medihoney has also been used to treat diabetic foot ulcers. This has been successfully used on diabetics who have suffered these ulcers sometimes for years. Medihoney has worked where nothing else has. Pretty good stuff don’t you agree. Is honey good for you? It is not only good for you; it is amazingly wonderful for you, for all of us.

Let’s Take a Look at Lifemel Honey

There are celebrities who are big fans of Lifemel honey like Sienna Miller and Kylie Minogue. Poor Kylie we all remember as a cancer sufferer but who is thankfully now cured.

But it isn’t just celebrities; there are vast amounts of normal everyday people just like you and me who have reported vast benefits to the improved health and quality of their lives all down to the health benefits of honey.

Lifemel honey is produced by honey bees fed a special diet of nectar producing plants, over forty herbs in fact. These include Siberian ginseng and Echinacea along with iron protein and vitamins.

Lifemel honey was proved in clinical trials to reduce the incidence of anaemia in cancer patients who were undergoing chemotherapy as part of their treatment. So in this instance Lifemel honey was certainly effective and beneficial for cancer patients.

It was also shown to decrease incidences of severe neutropenia. This is an unfortunate side effect of chemotherapy. Interestingly Lifemel honey was first developed to help an acute anemia sufferer very successfully.

Who invented Lifemel Honey?

A Russian immigrant to Israel by the name of Dr. Alexander Goroshit was a medical student in the Soviet Union in the 1970s. He became involved with a medical project involving cholera in a Russian country village.

After using maps to chart houses where this disease was rife and trying to discover why it was in some but not in others he made a remarkable discovery. Where there was no cholera, was inhabited by families of beekeepers.

Lifemel honey was about to be born! He began to research beekeeping, medicinal plants and herbs and of course honey. He continued these studies after immigrating to Israel in the 1990s.

The Office of the Chief Scientist awarded him a grant to use for his research and a few years later through “Angel Investors” he set up a company called Zuf Globus Laboratories. Lifemel honey was getting closer......

He started to give his honey away to people with cancer and the results were duly noted by doctors at the Sieff Hospital. They noted their cancer patients had hugely improved white blood cell counts and quickly asked the company to carry out a clinical study.

What were the Results from
Lifemel Honey Clinical Trials?

Reported in the Journal of Medical Oncology the conclusion was that although Lifemel honey is expensive it is also a safe and effective method of preventing chemotherapy induced pancytopenia.

Apart from collecting it from bee hives and packaging it is not artificially treated in any way shape or form, is completely natural and has no side effects. After seven days of eating two teaspoons per day the benefits to patients were amazing.

How does Lifemel Honey help
Cancer Patients?

Here are two more examples of the amazing benefits of Lifemel honey. The first involves a 76 year old former Canadian doctor who claims Lifemel honey cured him from Leukemia. He was diagnosed with this after receiving radiotherapy for another form of cancer.

His own doctors had to refuse him chemotherapy because his blood counts were too low and he was too ill.

Almost completely bedridden by this time, suffering with mouth ulcers, complete loss of appetite and feeling so ill he was advised by his own son-in-law to eat Lifemel honey twice a day.

His son-in-law had heard about this honey whilst talking to a professional in Israel.

Literally within one week his blood count improved dramatically, within a month they were almost back to normal and a few months later he was able to play his favorite game of golf again. And to think he was at death’s door that is until Lifemel honey saved him!

Another example of Lifemel honey’s amazing benefits were reported by Ester Karpel from Kiryat Shmona who felt the benefits immediately. Her low white blood count ranged from a low 2.0 to 4.0. after only five days they had increased to 6.6.

She was amazed and tested this by stopping the Lifemel honey briefly and her blood count dropped dramatically to 1.7. obviously alarmed she started eating Lifemel again and up shot her blood count making her feel so much better.

Can Lifemel Honey
be used for anything else?

So convinced are the producers of this marvelous Lifemel honey they are partaking in clinical trials for menopausal women and even those who suffer AIDS. The outlook is extremely promising.

Concluding these two particular honeys, Medihoney and Lifemel honey there are many of us who can benefit from the two. As to whether honey can cure cancer, there is certainly a huge amount of evidence to say that the medical benefits of honey are extremely helpful for many things.
