My thanks to my youngest daughter who set me on this path in the beginning.

My family and friends from all over the world who help to keep me informed of delicious honey's they taste on their travels. This helps me to write my articles about different honeys, some well known and others that could amaze you!

Dr Reese Halter, a very respected writer and professor to whom I wrote and asked for permission to quote his views on Neonectinoids and the affects they have on our Honey Bees.

He emailed me staight back and said "Sure Jan, go ahead". This article Honeybees, Bees and Neonictinoids is the one I was most interested in but I do follow his blog, it is facinating.

You can read what he has to say about the state our world is in by following him on his blog, the link is on the page.

Phil Chandler, a very respected beekeeper who agreed to this interview with me in my Beekeeping Forum and has very useful information on his website. He will also answer questions for you. I have provided you with links.

Dr Malcolm Sanford a former Professor Emeritus at the University of Florida amongst other things! You can read my interview with him in my article named Dr Sanford. I left the links on the page as he requested.

Various books that I have read over the years to further my own knowledge which is VAST now! over the years some of these books have helped me check facts when writing my articles. If necessary these are cited.

One book which stands out for me and I could not put it down. The time-line of the honey bee is included in this wonderful book simply called "Bee" and written by a great author named Claire Preston. Excellent reading. I have used references from her book citing the time-line of our Honey Bees.

Natural History Museums and Science Museums open to the public.

Google videos which are extremely helpful when it comes to seeing something visual. A very good reason to substitute Honey for Sugar and for particular interest to diabetics is Insulin resistance. So guess what the main cause is? Sugar!
