Honeycomb and Royal Honey

by Sandi

Honeycomb.......Delicious

Honeycomb.......Delicious

Hello, I am wondering if a person should eat the honeycomb, that is in the honey jar??

Also, is Royal Honey so much better for a person than honey purchased in the grocery stores?
How much honey does one eat a day? Can too much a day be eaten?

Drinking honey and vinegar in warm water, how benifical is that to a person?
Thank You,
Sandi

Hello Sandi, and thank you for your questions. Firstly if you are ever lucky enough to bite into a piece or chunk of honeycomb then yes, you should eat this.

It melts in your mouth and is also a wonderful source of nutrition which is much saught after in many countries. A very delightful sweet treat.

Royal honey......hmm, unless this is a brand name in its own right all good honey is "Royal". I think you probably mean honey that contains royal jelly.

This would be an addition added by a honey manufacturer as raw honey doesn't contain this in its own right. Both royal jelly and any good honey are an excellent source of amongst other things: Antioxidants, Vitamins, Minerals and essential Enzymes.

On average a person should eat between two to five spoonfuls each day of honey to benefit from it and like anything, nothing should really be eaten to excess.

Honey and vinegar, we are talking apple cider vinegar and honey, is also an excellent source of nutrition and has helped many people stave off the effects of such things as arthritis.

Please take a look at some of my pages which cover your questions in far more detail and if you still are unsure about anything then send in another question, I'll be happy to answer it for you.

Warm regards
Jan
