A couple of good foods sources, essential in my book, along with the benefits of eating honey. Try to include them at least once a week in your own diet. The video I have included in this article is delivered by a charming young lady from Asian Cooking Made Easy a truly wonderful website absolutely packed with information about the varieties of Asian cooking. Asian cooking often contains honey, they know their stuff! When I watched her honey walnut shrimp recipe I needed to watch a few times in order to list the ingredients and cooking methods. To save you some time I have listed the ingredients and methods of cooking your honey walnut shrimp recipe below. to Make this Honey Recipe 1 cup of whole shelled walnuts 1 tablespoon of butter 2 tablespoons of sugar Heat the butter in a pan over a medium heat until melted. Add the walnuts and stir constantly together for a minute. Add the sugar and continue stirring all these ingredients together for a further 2 minutes. Prepare the Sauce for Honey Walnut Shrimp Recipe Mix together the following then set to one side: 3 tablespoons of a good mayonnaise 1 tablespoon of honey 2 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk Half a teaspoon of lemon juice Prepare Your Shrimp you will need 1lb of shelled and cleaned shrimps Make Your Batter ~ Mix all The Following Together until Smooth 1 cup of flour 1 teaspoon of sugar Half a teaspoon of salt 1 cup of water Heat 2 – 3 cups of good cooking oil in a wok Add your shrimps to your batter and using a fork to pick them out shake any excess batter off and place into your hot oil. Try not to put too many in at a time, it is recommended to use 8 – 10 to avoid overloading the wok. Cook them until they become a light golden brown color. Repeat and when each batch is ready place them on to kitchen paper to soak up the excess oil. Once they are all cooked stir them into your sauce and they are ready to eat. And as the lady say’s in her video.....Enjoy.
