Honey Storage

by Honey for my Honey
(Georgia)

Best way for honey storage? I have purchased honey in plastic dispensers. Should I remove the honey from the plastic bottle and can in it glass jars?

If so, I am assuming I do not need to warm the honey, just pour it into the cans or jars at room temperature and seal with a caning lid? Is this the best way?

Thanks for your reply,

Hello

It is great you have bought yourself so much honey which I trust is of a pure variety. There should be nothing unatural blended with it such as corn starch.

If this is the case then you needn't worry at all about transfering it to cans or jars. There are many good honey's sold in plastic squeezy bottles which can be less messy to use especially when pouring over something delicious.
