Especially great for any bacterial skin infections that cause those dreaded pimples that have a habit of popping up just when we don’t need them! Homemade Beauty Product Can We Make? Lip salves for dry lips contain honey and beeswax which keeps them moist and kissable and are always a favorite. If you suffer with dry, flaky lips honey skincare will heal this for you, wind, rain or shine none of them will withstand a chance with honey skincare. Use a double boiler to gently melt half a cup of beeswax pellets and as it cools stir in a teaspoon of honey. Place into a pretty container and smooth away chapped and flaky skin. For a superb honey face mask you could just use this neat, plaster it on clean damp skin, lie down and relax for as long as you feel or can! Then just rinse it off with clean water when you are ready. Your skin will feel softer; your pimples will have started to disappear along with any blackheads because your honey skincare has done what it loves to do and that is destroy all bacteria! As a superb facial scrub try adding ground almonds, apricot seeds, coffee granules, sea salt and even unrefined sugar. These all act as perfect exfoliaters on your skin rubbing off the dead layers on the surface. There are no limitations to making your own homemade beauty product so long as you use only natural ingredients. You just don’t need all those chemicals, most of which can be quite damaging to the skin stripping it of essential oils. If you discover you have made more than you really need, find or buy some nice little bottles or jars, fill them with your homemade beauty product, tie a pretty ribbon around and give them to someone you love as a lovely gift. Everyone loves a home-made gift. for Hands and Nails A lovely homemade soap will not only help to keep your skin beautiful because if you make it in bulk you can again give these as gifts for your loved ones and friends so they may try the beauty benefits of honey too.
Place all the ingredients into a double boiler, heat all together very gently and stir until the water has reduced and the mixture has thickened and everything has blended well together. You could add a little coloring agent and even some herbs such as lavender or even some fresh rose petals. Pour the mixture into some moulds, fancy or plain depending on how you would like them to look, even candle moulds can look pretty. These homemade soaps will need to cool thoroughly which could take several hours, however try to resist the urge to place them in the freezer, it just doesn’t work. Just leave them alone for a while and they will harden. Wrap them up in pretty cellophane and tie with a bow if you are giving them as a homemade beauty product gift for others to try great honey skincare. They will most certainly thank you. Honey’s unique healing properties will not only soften your hands but will also cure any nail fungal infections that are lingering around and bugging you at the same time. This is best used overnight, smother your hands and nails with lovely honey and pop on a pair of cotton gloves. Rinse off in the morning and feel just how soft your hands will feel. For stubborn nail fungus use this regularly and within a few days it will be gone. We have skin on our scalps too and the beauty benefits of honey on the hair will kill off dandruff and scalp infections whilst maintaining strong, healthy, shiny hair. Quite simply gently rub and comb through some honey into the skin on your scalp, wrap in a towel and leave it for as long as you are able. Do this every day until your scalp infection has gone. Dandruff is another problem easily solved with honey skincare. Try adding a little honey to your shampoos to stop further infections and as a final rinse to your hair for a great shine, add a few drops of apple cider vinegar if you are dark haired or lemon juice for the blondies. Homemade Beauty Product A Bath Fizzie One cup of baking soda mixed with half a cup of citric acid in a large glass bowl. Add some honey and essential oils for perfume. I like vanilla, rose and jasmine myself. Have a spray bottle of witch hazel ready and as you mould the mixture spray with this until it feels dough like in consistency. Sometimes you may have to add a little more baking soda but only if the mixture fizzes too much. Roll them into balls or press into moulds and leave them to dry out for a couple of days in room temperature. You will love this homemade beauty product. Watch it explode as you drop it into your bath and then enjoy the beauty benefits of honey on your skin in a luxurious bathtime soak. These bath fizzies are so easy to make and such fun with the kids. Give them as prettily wrapped gits.
