Hello, I am just at the beginning of benefiting from honey. I have been reading up on things like honey garlic and vinegar.
One reason is because I had part of my lower jaw dissected and replaced with part of my fibula.
My facial skin has never been that good, and now I have a scar that runs from under my chin to the back of my ear...if the scar didn't hurt as bad I wouldn't be writing this.
As I enter my forties, my skin is going 'wild' and I am having a hard time with lotions especially on my face.
Vitamin E makes my scars (I have two huge ones on my legs) itch, so no that doesn’t work, I have pain and feel itchy.
I am drying out; which is weird to me because all my life I've been an over oily person!
What you recommend for acne, will this help with my painful itchy scars?
Warm Regards and keep up the good work

Hello Anna
It certainly sounds as if you have had a traumatic experience and one I hope you recover from soon.
Honey, particularly a good healing honey such as Manuka honey certainly does promote exceptional relief from scarring to the skin.
It does work best if used immediately to wounds but even old scarring can be relieved and softened if you use it constantly over a period of time.
I am sure there is many a lady or gentleman who feel their skin is going “wild” with age but this is normal, as we age are hormone balances change.
Only your doctor can give you medical advice not I, however, I have seen the power of honey healing wounds and scars first hand and feel sure this will benefit you too.
Manuka honey for healing scars is fast gaining in popularity due to the dedicated research and proof of a few open-minded health professionals.
Please try Manuka Honey Skincare, it is not just for helping to keep wrinkles at bay, it helps to keep your skin balanced, helps with both dry and oily skin and if it can heal MRSA then think what it can do to help your complexion and scars.
I found this video below which I thought you may like to watch.
