A Taste of Honey
What a Treat

A taste of honey very much depends on the types of honey and kinds of honey produced by our amazing little friends the honey bee.

There are many honey shops and honey markets especially local ones who will be only too happy for you to try a taste of honey. You want to taste the best.

Local beekeepers will often proudly offer you a taste of their own produce; this is the raw honey their bees have produced in their very own bee hives.

Of course this type of honey is very much sought after by local people in the belief, with a lot of good evidence, that it will cure their pollen allergies.

Tasting honey for the first time is an absolute pleasure, the kinds of honey and the varying flavors are enormous.

This very much depends on the flowers the bees have collected their nectar from and most beekeepers will keep their own honeybee gardens preferring to produce their very own type of honey.

A Taste of Honey for Health
.

Tasting honey for health has been researched thoroughly; many doctors and those in the medical profession will tell you there are many health benefits of honey.

Hippocrates, an old Ancient Medicine practitioner wrote many medical journals which are being discovered and used once again and about time! He documented many honey facts too.

Hippocrates was especially known for his healing using honey to cure the sick and ill. He believed a taste of honey would revive the health of many along with the use of medicinal herbs and everything natural which most of the time has been pollinated by honey bees.

Below are some links to show you just some of
the health benefits of good kinds of honey
.

Honey is very often included in cooking and baking in some pretty good honey recipes. Because there are so many kinds of honey you are literally spoilt for choice as your taste of honey will enhance your cooking, changing the taste of your healthy food.

As a family we are avid honey lovers who invented and follow our own honey diet since I discovered the benefits of honey many years ago.

A Taste of Honey for Medicinal Purposes

We’ve all (well most of us) have heard the saying “a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down”, this is because sugar is sweet, but were you aware that honey is actually sweeter than sugar?

It isn’t really necessary to swallow any medicine with sugar or often poisonous sugar substitutes, because a taste of honey will do the job much better as it slides down your throat so easily.

I don’t know of and I guess you don’t, of a tastier medicine especially as it is such a pure and natural substance.

The medical benefits of honey are numerous
which is why it is so popular for home remedies such as:

In fact a taste of honey is quite often all we will ever need along with a healthy lifestyle to keep us away from the doctors surgery.

I will urge you to use caution when choosing your type of honey for medicinal purposes and recommend if you are buying it from a shop or store that you check the labels on the jars.

Steer clear of blended honey as this is very often blended with other products which have no health benefits whatsoever.

health or medical purposes are:

A taste of honey is also a title of a song sung by the very famous Beatles. Actually I am assuming you are in my age group because the Beatles would not be known or famous to you if you are much younger than me!

John Lennon wrote the lyrics as follows:

I dream of your first kiss
And then I feel upon my lips again A taste of honey
Tasting much sweeter than wine
I will return, yes I will return
I'll come back for the honey and you

Many famous singers such as Mariah Carey, Beyonce and Liam Gallagher from Oasis swear by honey for the healing and soothing effects it has on their throats.

Kate Moss the super model was invited to sing at Simon Cowells birthday party in October 2009.

Not well known for her singing she was said to be determined to do well and took advice from her rocker boyfriend, Jamie Hince, she's been practising her scales and gargling with lemon and honey.

She once read that this is what Mariah does ahead of each performance.

These people and many others will regularly gargle with honey to kill off any bacteria lurking around which could cause them dreadful problems as their lifestyle and career are so dependant on them being able to sing.

We too can benefit from the same home remedies for curing our own coughs and sore throats.

A Taste of Honey with What Else?
.

Honey is often included with other medicinal foods and herbs, probably the tastiest and most powerful of these would be:

How amazing is that taste of honey? So many types and kinds of honey from which to choose! Always buy the very best you can, eat it every day two to five teaspoons, but please not to children under the age of one year.
